I have never understood dressing up to go to a sporting event. Tonight I went to a hockey game and I just can't understand what the point of dressing up as a spectator is. Of course I understand when you have to dress up because you are bringing a client or taking a date to the game but otherwise I do not understand it. If you wear anything besides jeans and a jersey you shouldn't be at a game.
The women who wear the tight skirts and suits with stiletto heals think they are going to a club. A game is somewhere a person can dress down relax and have a few beers. A rule of thumb should be if you are going somewhere that serves hot dogs you should not dress up. It is not only women who do this. Men are guilty of the same thing as well. Maybe it is because they know it is a good way to meet people, in a lighthearted state. So these people are dressing to impress.
This is strange you wouldn't think to go to a game to pick up chicks or to meet guys would you? So why do people do it? Maybe dressing up to a game is something everybody should do so they can meet more and more people. But I still don't understand it.

I agree. When I go to football games I often see chicks wearing jerseys...jeans...and super high heels! The idea is to look good--heels are sexy and you see a lot of people you don't know--and you could possibly meet a guy woooo. Haha But it is obviously a waste of pain because you're walking around a lot and the guys you think you'll "meet" will look at you like your crazy. Am I right? I think your post proves that it doesn't impress guys. Just makes you look weird. Awesome :)
