Oranges, muted reds, blacks and browns are the always popular colors of fall. This makes me feel some what limited in what I wear but at the same time it lets me be creative in choosing the proper outfit for an event or just for going out with friends.
I have always been a fan of layering and fall provides every occasion for doing so. The contrasting colors that go together ever so well really make me enjoy getting dressed for the day. Wearing a the brown and white thermal shirts under any short sleeve tee shirt or polo work for almost every occasion in the fall. Just warm enough for the outdoors and very breathable for the inside wear people question if its time for air conditioning or heat. Mixing any of the colors in the intro will do well with any thermal underneath.
As it gets closer to Halloween you may feel the need to start breaking out the popular pumpkin orange sweater this atrocious color of sweater is only acceptable if you during the period close to Halloween through thanksgiving but no other time. It is a very bold color to wear but often does not fit the attention that the often portly people are trying to get. The way to combat this attention is to mute it down with a dark brown sports coat making a statement but looking reserved in doing so.
Also with these wonderful colors you have to take into consideration that they are all bold and can often give the wrong impression or may just be to bold for that persons personality. When wearing clothes for the fall it is important to know that the more muted the better. But if you are looking to be noticed muted with a touch of bold is the way to go.
